Andy Stankiewicz worked for the New York Yankees in 2002-2005 as a scout and a coach for the GCL Yankees. He also managed the Staten Island Yankees in 2003 and 2005. Stankiewicz became an assistant coach at Arizona State University in 2007-2009. He was then the Seattle Mariners' Minor League Field Coordinator in 2010 and 2011, leaving in the middle of the second year to accept the position of head baseball coach at Grand Canyon University.
