Andrey Kripochin has played for the Russian national team. He hit .458 in the 2000 World Junior Championship, finishing fifth in average. He made the All-Star outfield alongside a Cuban and American J.J. Hardy. He hit .259/.400/.407 with 7 runs and 7 RBI in the 2001 European Championship, in which Russia won their first Medal ever in a European Championship with a Silver. Kripochin led the team in RBI and tied Andrei Selivanov and former minor leaguer Alexander Nizov for the most runs. The 19-year-old was 0 for 3 with 2 walks and a RBI in Russia's historic 2-0 win over Italy in the semifinals. In the Gold Medal game, the left fielder was 0 for 3 against the the Netherlands.
Kripochin hit .250/.348/.250 in the 2001 Baseball World Cup and stole 3 bases in 6 games but was thrown out running twice. He hit .263/.263/.263 in the 2003 European Championship.
Andrey hit .273/.333/.273 in the 2007 European Championship and .316/.350/.368 in the 2008 European Cup in Grosseto.
