[edit] Biographical Information
Outfielder Andre David of the Minnesota Twins hit a home run off Jack Morris in his first big league at bat but never hit another one in the majors. After retiring in 1989, he has been a minor league coach and manager in the New York Mets and Kansas City Royals organizations, serving as Royals hitting coach for parts of the 2005 and 2006 seasons. David has been with the Royals' organization since 1998 and in 2009 will be the Minor League Hitting Coordinator.
