Andley Simmons has played on the international stage for the Netherlands Antilles.

Simmons hit .353/.421/.412 in the 2008 Haarlem Baseball Week, second to Randolph Kirindongo on the Netherlands Antilles/Aruban combined team. He struggled defensively with 3 errors. In the 2008 Curacao season, Andley batted .356/.396/.475 for the Royal Scorpions and also had a 4.09 ERA on the mound. He was among the league leaders in hits (36, tied for second), average (8th), triples (3, tied for first), homers (1, tied for 5th), runs (21, 6th) and RBI (15, tied for 3rd).

Simmons was 4 for 12 with two runs in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup as a 1B/DH. He also pitched, allowing 10 runs in 11 innings and losing his lone decision, serving up a game-losing hit to Danilo Sotelo to end a 2-1 game against Nicaragua.

For 2009, Simmons signed with the Konica Minolta Pioniers. He debuted on April 11 as their first baseman and #5 hitter, protecting defending MVP Mark Duursma. Andley was 0 for 4 and fanned twice in a rough start in the Hoofdklasse; he faced Rob Cordemans and Gregory Gustina.
