[edit] Team Bio

The Anderson Servants are a Summer Collegiate Baseball team playing out of Anderson, IN. The Servants are a 2007 expansion to the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. The team is dedicated to player development and provides NCAA athletes an opportunity to gain experience in higher competition environments, playing with minor league specification equipment, traveling on road trips, and playing nightly before fans.

The Anderson Servants are set apart from many other Summer Collegiate Baseball teams in their specific mission. The Servants are owned by OneCrown Ministies and seek to be a vessel to provide collegiate baseball players the opportunity to compete at the highest level while being challenged to live and play in a Christian lifestyle, challenged by spiritual, academic and physical discipline.

[edit] Guiding Principle

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."

I Corinthians 9:24-25 (New International Version)
