[edit] Team Bio
Founded 1969, The Anchorage Glacier Pilots were named for Bob Reeve, the "Glacier Pilot", a famous Alaskan bush pilot who was one of the true pioneers of early aviation. Reeve is a member of the International Aerospace Hall of Fame and the National Aviation Hall of Fame, as well as the Alaska Aviation Pioneer Hall of Fame and Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame.
Jon Dyson currently the General Manager for the Glacier Pilots, replaced Lefty Van Brunt, an Alaska baseball legend, who had been with the Pilots in some capacity for nearly the team's entire existence.
