American Association Teams
From BR Bullpen
The American Association was reformed in 1969. First as a six team league and then expanded to eight in 1970. Following the 1997 season the league folded and the teams were intergrated into the International League and the Pacific Coast League. The Buffalo Bisons, Indianapolis Indians and Louisville Redbirds joined the IL, while the Omaha Royals, Iowa Cubs, New Orleans Zephyrs, Oklahoma City 89ers and Nashville Sounds were added to the PCL.
