[edit] Biographical Information
Allie Clark was a back-up outfielder who played seven seasons in the majors. As a rookie, he played on the 1947 New York Yankees who won the World Series. In his second year, he played for the Cleveland Indians, hitting .310, and again his team won the World Series. Following his big league days, he was with the Rochester Red Wings from 1953 to 1957, hitting .306 with 75 home runs and 340 RBI over that span.
Clark missed most of 1943 and all of 1944-1945 while in the military service.
