Alex Sint Jago was named the top batter in Aruba's league in 2006. In the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup, he hit .296/.345/.481 for Aruba with 8 RBI in 8 games. He tied Ardley Jansen for third in the event in RBI, behind only future major leaguer Agustin Murillo and former major leaguer Carlos Rivera. 7 of his RBI, though, came in Aruba's rout of Guatemala; otherwise, he hit .190 with 1 RBI in 7 games.
