The Albany Governors played one season in the International Association, going 19-86 to finish last in 1888 by 59 games, an impressive feat in a league where no team played more than 111 games. Managed by Tom York, the team's most prominent players were P-OF Frank Foreman, SS Candy Nelson and OF Chief Roseman.
