Al "A-1" Wright got into four games as a 20-year-old with the 1933 Boston Braves. He went 1-for-1, so is a member of the 1.000 club. Wright played 17 years in the minors, primarily in the PCL.
The regular second baseman for the 1933 Braves was 41-year-old Rabbit Maranville.
Al was with the Mission team in the PCL for seven years, and the San Francisco team for parts of five years. In the PCL he also played for Portland and Oakland.
