First baseman Al LeBoeuf was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 28th round of the 1981 amateur draft. He played in their farm system from 1981 to 1988, hitting .270 in 703 games.
LeBoeuf coached in the Phillies organization from 1989 to 1992 and managed from 1993-1998. He was a coach in the New York Mets chain from 2001 to 2005 and spent 2006 with the Wichita Wranglers. After the 2006 season he was named coach of the Syracuse Chiefs.
