Al Kozar was a second baseman for eleven seasons, from 1941 to 1954, three in the Major Leagues and nine in the minors, losing three years to the military. He served in the U.S. Army for three years during World War II (1943-1945) (BN). He played for the Washington Senators and Chicago White Sox from 1949 to 1951.
