[edit] Biographical Information

Al Kenders played 10 games for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1961. This was the only season he played in the major leagues. Kenders played in the minors from 1956-1963 with only part of a year at AAA. His best minor league season came with the 1959 Des Moines Demons, when he set career highs in average (.301), home runs (10) and RBI (66).
