[edit] Biographical Information
Shortstop Al Cabrera played his one and only major league game on May 16, 1913. He went a disappointing 0-2 at the plate in that game. However, he did make history as he became the first Spanish-born major leaguer. From 1901-20, Cabrera was a regular in the Cuban Winter League and he also managed there later in the 1920s.
