[edit] Biographical Information

Al Barker got into one game in 1871. He was by far the oldest player on the team. He started in a road game in New York and did pretty well, getting a couple RBI and a couple put-outs.

Barker played for the Forest City team in 1868-70 before participating in the 1871 National Association. After his baseball career, he stayed in Rockford and was a civic leader.
