Al "A-1" Wright got into four games as a 20-year-old with the Boston Braves in 1933. He got a hit in his only at-bat, so is a member of the 1.000 club. Wright played 17 years in the minors, primarily in the Pacific Coast League.
The regular second baseman for the 1933 Braves was 41-year-old Rabbit Maranville.
Al was with the Mission team in the PCL for seven years, and the San Francisco team for parts of five years. In the PCL, he also played for Portland and Oakland.
