Akron Rubbernecks

The former Akron Buckeyes were renamed the Akron Rubbernecks in 1906. Members of the Ohio-Pennsylvania League, the team became known as the Akron Champs a year later. The name was used one more time, in 1915, by the Akron entry in the Buckeye League.
