Agricultural Society Fair Grounds was the home of the National Association's Rockford Forest Citys in 1871. The park featured trees just behind the catcher and in the outfield. The field itself was very uneven, with third base up a hill and home plate in a valley. The warning track in the outfield was a deep drainage gutter from a neighboring horse track.
