Adam Liberatore came to the minors in 2010.
Liberatore was a Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League as a senior. As a college freshman, he was 0-1, then 3-3 with a 8.42 ERA as a sophomore. His junior year, he went 1-2 then was Pitcher of the Year in the Valley Baseball League after going 6-1 in the summer. He began 2009 very well, going 2-0 with no earned runs in 17 innings before an elbow injury ended his season early. As a redshirt senior, the left-hander had a 6-4, 5.30 record. The Tampa Bay Rays picked him in the 21st round of the 2010 amateur draft.
Liberatore made his pro debut with the Hudson Valley Renegades on June 24. He worked 2/3 of an inning and allowed two hits, two walks and two unearned runs.
