Aaron Rakers, through eight years in the minors, had an ERA of 3.04, and through three years in the majors, had an ERA of 3.32.
Rakers made his debut in Taiwan on April 1, 2009 with the La New Bears, allowing two runs in six innings and picking up the win over the Brother Elephants. He went 13-6 with a 3.54 ERA in the 2009 CPBL. He finished third in ERA behind Wei-Lun Pan and Yu-Cheng Liao, second in wins behind Itsuki Shoda and second with 110 strikeouts, five behind Shoda. That earned him the Best Ten nod as the league's most dominant hurler.
Aaron struggled with the Bears in 2010, going 4-7 with a 4.15 ERA before being released in August.
