The film 61* chronicled Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle's pursuit of baseball's home run record in 1961. The film starred Barry Pepper as Maris and Thomas Jane as Mantle. Billy Crystal directed the movie and served as executive producer. Much of the movie was shot in Detroit's Tiger Stadium.
