The 2012 Korea Baseball Organization was the 31st KBO season. The league marked the return or entry of some of the biggest Korean baseball names. KBO single-season homer king Seung-yeop Lee returned after eight years in Japan and finished third in both runs and RBI to show he still had it. Byung-hyun Kim and Chan-ho Park, the two most successful Korean pitchers in MLB, both played in the KBO for the first time, though neither accomplished much.
