The 2010-2011 Australian Baseball League marked the rebirth of the Australian Baseball League, whose last season had been back in 1998-1999.

In the playoffs, Sydney's David Welch tossed a no-hitter against the Adelaide Bite but Adelaide still won to advance to the finals. In the finals, Perth swept Adelaide in three games, with Finals MVP Ben Moore tossing eight shutout innings in the finale, a 7-1 Heat victory.

Welch (5-0, 1.44) led the league in ERA and was named Pitcher of the Year. Adelaide's Chris Mowday (6-3, 2.83) and Perth's Daniel Schmidt (6-3, 2.97) tied for the win lead, Sydney's Chris Oxspring (4-2, 2.23) led with 71 strikeouts and Sydney's Dae-sung Koo (2-1, 1.00, 12 Sv) led in saves, 9 more than anyone else. Koo was named Reliever of the Year. Mariekson Gregorius (Canberra) won the Gold Glove.

Michael Collins (Canberra) won the batting title (.360), Jeremy Cresswell (Adelaide) led in runs (37), Robbie Widlansky (Perth) had the most hits (52) and doubles (15), Canberra's Donald Lutz led with three triples, Adelaide's Jamie McOwen cracked the most home runs (11), led in slugging (.613) and tied for the most RBI (30), Brisbane's Joshua Roberts tied for the RBI lead, Perth's Ronnie Welty led with 27 walks, Adelaide's Tom Brice had the best OBP (.439) and Sydney's Trent D'Antonio led with 9 steals.
