The 2007 First-Year Player Draft was the forty-third Major League Baseball amateur draft. It was held on June 7 and June 8, 2007. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays selected collegiate pitcher David Price with the first pick.
For the first time the draft was televised; the first day of the draft, including the first 25 rounds, was broadcast from Orlando, Florida, on ESPN2. Previously the draft, via conference call, was broadcast with commentary, on MLB.com as streaming audio.
