The 2000 Division II College World Series was held in Montgomery, AL. The tournament was won by Southeastern Oklahoma State University, coached by Mike Metheny. The runner-up was the Fort Hays State University. SE Oklahoma pitcher Aaron Thompson was named the series Most Outstanding Player.
