1999 Triple-A World Series

The 1999 Triple-A World Series was the second meeting between the champions of the Pacific Coast League and International League in a postseason series. The Vancouver Canadians won their first PCL title in ten years, while the Charlotte Knights won the International League's Governors' Cup for the first time since 1993.
Mark Mulder went the distance in the finale to give Vancouver the title. Leading Vancouver's offense were Mario Encarnacion (.429) and Terrence Long (.429, 10 RBI). For Charlotte, key performers were Esteban Beltre (.429), Chad Mottola (.400), Tilson Brito (.333, 2 HR) and Jon Garland (1-0, 0.00).
The entire series was played at Cashman Field in Las Vegas, NV. Terrence Long was named series MVP.
