1997 Division II College World Series

The 1997 Division II College World Series was held in Montgomery, AL. The tournament was won by Cal State Chico, coached by Lindsay Meggs. The runner-up was the University of Central Oklahoma. Tampa catcher Angel Diaz was named the series Most Outstanding Player, despite not making it to the championship game.
