The 1993 Asian Championship was the 17th Asian Championship. It was held from February 26 through March 7 in Perth, Western Australia. The top three teams qualified for the 1994 Baseball World Cup. It was not only Australia's last time hosting an Asian Championship, but their last time playing in one, as they joined the Oceanic baseball federation after this and have been competing with inferior baseball countries since.

Flag of Japan Japan cruised to victory, going 8-0. Yuichi Yanagisawa was MVP of the final round while Masafumi Nishi was named the tourney's best defensive player and tied for the most steals. Hideaki Okubo led in RBI.

Flag of South Korea South Korea won Silver, going 5-1 in the first round and 1-1 in the final round.

Flag of Chinese Taipei Chinese Taipei took home Bronze, with a 4-2 first round record and 1-1 final round record. Tsung-Hui Tong was named MVP of the first round and led in average and slugging.

Flag of Australia Australia was 3-3 in round one and 0-2 in round two as the hosts fell shy of a Medal.

Flag of People's Republic of China People's Republic of China placed 5th at 1-4.

Flag of North Korea North Korea went 1-4; it was their only appearance in an Asian Championship through 2008.

Flag of Philippines Philippines was last at 0-6.
