The 1991-1992 season was the thirty-first season of Cuba's national baseball system.

The 31st Serie Nacional was won by Industriales, who were managed by Jorge Trigoura. Los azules win the finals 4 game to 1 over defending two-time champion Henequeneros.

Omar Linares (Vegueros) is once again league's batting champion with a .386 average, 54 hits in 140 at-bats. Romelio Martínez of Holguín interrupts Lázaro Junco's run of four consecutive home run titles by hitting 19 round-trippers. Jorge Luis Valdés wins twelve games for Henequeneros with no losses for a record 12 – 0 win-loss line. Industriales pitcher Francisco Despaigne posts a 0.92 ERA, to lead the league by giving up 5 earned runs in 48.2 innings pitched.

The eighteenth Series Selectivas was won by Serranos, winners of the Zona Oriental, managed by the Higinio Vélez. The team defeated Habana, winners of the Zona Occidental, in a best-of- final series.
