This team was one of the many outstanding Blue Jay teams that took the field from 1985 through 1993, but it just missed out on making the playoffs, finishing behind the Tigers. Led by George Bell at the plate and Jimmy Key and Dave Stieb on the mound, the Blue Jays had power, speed, fine pitching, and a plethora of young talent.
