The 1987 College World Series was played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, NE from May 29 to June 7. The participating schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The forty-first tournament's champion was Stanford University coached by Mark Marquess. The Most Outstanding Player was Paul Carey of Stanford University.
