The 1985 Pacific Coast League season was the 82nd in the league's history, and ended with the Vancouver Canadians winning their first league championship.

This was the first season for the Calgary Cannons.

Danny Tartabull of Calgary became the first shortstop in Organized Baseball to hit 40 home runs since Ernie Banks in 1961.
