Don Mattingly was the AL MVP and RBI leader with 143. Mattingly hit for a .324 average with 35 home runs.
Mattingly, Dave Winfield and Rickey Henderson represented the Yankees in the 1985 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
Gold Gloves were awarded to pitcher Ron Guidry, first baseman Mattingly and outfielder Winfield.
Winfield and Henderson won Silver Slugger Awards at the outfield position and Mattingly won the award at first base.
Henderson also led the league with 80 stolen bases.
