1982 Division III College World Series

The 1982 Division III College World Series was held in Marietta, OH. Eastern Connecticut State University defeated California State University, Stanislaus in the championship game. The tournament expanded in 1982 to a 6 team field. From 1976 to 1981 there had been a 4 four team field. P Jeff Blobaum of CSUS was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
