1979 Caribbean Series

The 1979 Caribbean Series (Serie del Caribe) was the tenth edition of the second stage of the Caribbean Series. It was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico from February 4 to February 9. The series featured four teams from Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela. The Navegantes del Magallanes of the Venezuelan League won the series and were managed by Willie Horton. The Most Valuable Player was Mitchell Page an outfielder with the Navegantes del Magallanes.
