The 1979 All-Star Game was held on Tuesday, July 17, 1979. The National League won the fiftieth midsummer classic by a score of 7 to 6. The game was held at Kingdome in Seattle, WA in front of 58,905 fans. The MVP was Dave Parker of the Pirates.
