1972 Caribbean Series

The 1972 Caribbean Series (Serie del Caribe) was the third edition of the second stage of the Caribbean Series. It was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from February 1 to February 6. The series featured four teams from Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela. The Leones de Ponce of the Puerto Rican League won the series and were managed by Frank Verdi. The Most Valuable Player was Carlos May, an outfielder with the Leones de Ponce.
