[edit] History, Comments, Contributions

On April 15th, the 1968 New York Mets played 23 scoreless innings against the Houston Astros before losing, 1-0, on a run scored by Norm Miller when Bob Aspromonte's ground ball went through SS Al Weis' legs for an error. It was at the time time the longest major league game to have resulted in a decision, but has been topped twice since.
