On April 15th, the 1968 Houston Astros played 23 scoreless innings against the New York Mets before winning, 1-0, on a run scored by Norm Miller when Bob Aspromonte's ground ball went through SS Al Weis' legs for an error. It was at the time time the longest major league game to have resulted in a decision, but has been topped twice since.
