[edit] Serie Nacional
The third Serie Nacional was won by Industriales, under manager Ramón Carneado – their second consecutive championship. The team, at 22 – 13, was the only team with a winning record. For the first time in league history ties are counted as official games and included in the league's standings.
At Estadio Palmar del Junco in Pueblo Nuevo, Matanzas on October 3, Industriales and Occidentales played in a 19 – 14 . The winner, Industriales, set a record by recording eight consecutive hits in a single inning. Pedro Cháves of Occidentales had a twelve-game hitting streak and led the league with a .333 average. Industriales hurler Orlando Rubio wins the league's ERA title at 0.63, giving up only 4 earned runs.

The second Juego de las Estrellas (All-Star Game) was held in Havana. In the game, Occidentales defeated Oriente by a score of 5 to 1. Occidentales had 5 hits to Oriente's 3, while the errors were 4 to 1 in favor of Occidentales. The winning pitcher was Antonio Rubio and the losing pitcher was Emilio Vargas.

The Most Valuable Player (Jugadores más Valiosos) was Pedro Chávez a first baseman-outfielder with Occidentales. The Most Valuable Pitcher (Lanzadores más Valiosos) was Orlando Rubio of Industriales.
