1963 Pacific Coast League season
From BR Bullpen
The 1963 Pacific Coast League season was the 61st in the league's history, and ended with the Oklahoma City 89ers winning their first league championship.
With the folding of the American Association, the PCL added Oklahoma, Dallas-Fort Worth and Denver to expand to 10 teams, which were then split into two divisions. The division winners would then play a best-of-seven series for the league championship.
