1962 Asian Championship

The 1962 Asian Championship was the 4th Asian Championship. It was the first hosted by Taiwan and was played from January 1 through January 9, 1962.
Japan won its third straight Gold Medal, going 5-0 with a tie.
South Korea won Silver at 3-3. Jinten Haku hit the tourney's only home run. The roster also included future KBO manager Sung-keun Kim.
Chinese Taipei won Bronze at 3-3.
Philippines finished last at 0-5 with one tie.
