1955 Pacific Coast League season
From BR Bullpen
The 1955 Pacific Coast League season was the 52nd in the league's history, and ended with the Seattle Rainiers winning their first league championship since 1951.
Los Angeles and Hollywood tied for third place, so the clubs decided to hold a best-of-five playoff for third place and the unofficial city championship. All games were played at Wrigley Field (LA) because of its greater capacity.
After the season, the Oakland Oaks moved to Vancouver, BC.
