The 1953 Browns were the last to play in St. Louis. They were last in the league in attendance. After the season they relocated to Baltimore, MD and played the 1954 season there.
The Browns played slightly below-average baseball throughout April and May, but a fourteen-game losing streak in June cemented their second-division status.
Don Larsen and Bob Turley were rookies in 1953.
