The 1952 American Association season was the 51st in the league's history, and ended with the Kansas City Blues winning their first league championship since 1938. The Blues would go on to lose the Junior World Series.

On June 23, the AA approved the transfer of the Toledo Mud Hens to Charleston, WV where the club became the Charleston Senators. The Braves moved the Milwaukee Brewers franchise to Toledo and renamed them the Toledo Sox after the season.
