The playoffs featured the top six teams in the league. The first and second place teams received byes to the semi-finals while the second through sixth place teams competed in a best-of-three first round. In it the third place team faced off against the fifth place team and the fourth place team played against the sixth place team. The winners then advanced to the best-of-five semi-finals, with the first place team taking on the winner of the third-fifth place series while the second place team played against the winner of the fourth-sixth place series. The semi-final winners then met in the best-of-seven Shaughnessy Series.
