The league's first All-Star Game was played on July 1 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL. by a score of .It was the first night game at the stadium, predating the Major League Baseball debut of nightime baseball at "The Friendly Confines" by forty-five years.

The playoffs featured the winners from each half of the league's season facing off in a best-of-five Shaughnessy Series. In the series, the Racine Belles - winners of the first half - defeated the Kenosha Comets - winners of the second half - 3 games to 0.
