Šimon Procháczka has pitched in Germany and the Czech Republic. In 2008, he was was 0-1 with a 14.66 ERA for the Saarlouis Hornets in the Bundesliga-1, walking 17 and giving up 14 hits in 11 2/3 IP. He was with Slovakia for the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers, losing to Bulgaria with five walks and four runs (one earned) in five innings. In 2009, Procháczka signed with MZLU Brno in the Czech Extraliga. He was 2-4 with a save and a 3.03 ERA 22 games into the season.
