Play-by-Play Explanation

  • Score- The score from the perspective of the batting team.

  • Play Detail- This is an explanation of the play that occurred. In some cases, batted ball location and type will be indicated within parentheses. Also, plays made on the baserunners (including the batter as a baserunner) will be indicated in parentheses after the baserunner's name.
